Stadium: Cardiff City Stadium
Winners of the Football League Championship title in 2012-13 and promoted to the Premier League at the end of the 2013-14 season. The “Bluebirds” are the only club from outside England to have won the FA Cup, in 1927.
Stadium: Cardiff Arms Park
Cardiff RFC have built a fearsome reputation against international touring sides. Both South Africa and New Zealand have been beaten by Cardiff, and Australia have failed to beat the side in six attempts. They have provided more players for the Wales national team than any other club.
Gareth Bale (football)
Cardiff born Bale began his career at Southampton, playing at left back and earning a reputation as a dead ball specialist. In 2013 he became the world's most expensive player with a £86 million transfer to Real Madrid winning the Champions League. Having made the switch to left wing he is now first choice for Wales.
Gareth Llewellyn (rugby)
Wales International rugby union player who gained a record of 92 caps for Wales as a lock in a career spanning three decades and eight coaches. He captained Wales 7 times and played in three World Cups in 1995, 1999 and 2003.
Ryan Giggs (football)
Former left winger and now assistant manager at Manchester United, Ryan is also a coach for the Wales national team.
Cardiff's nightlife is recognised as one of the best in the UK and a firm favourite of stag and hen parties thanks to the fantastic choice of cultural flavours in Cardiff, with a vast array of restaurants if you plan a Team Dinner. There are Comedy Clubs, Casino's and top-quality nightclubs all within the city centre. To ensure swift entry and maximum time throwing (sometimes ‘dubious') shapes on the dancefloor we can arrange for guestlist entry to some of Cardiff's premier clubs to avoid the queues.
Home or away we've pitched some of the best locations for your sports tour.
